Everything you will need to have a successful transition to your new tax preparer.

It has been my pleasure to serve and support your tax and accounting needs for over 50 years. Moving forward, I have created a transition plan for your tax return preparation. I have found a young CPA who, I am confident, you will be able to work comfortably with for the foreseeable future. Whether you are a client choosing to follow tn the transition plan, or have found your own new preparer, this site should enable you to have access to, and share your tax return history and the documents behind them.

Client Steps to begin 2024 Tax Season

  • Gather your documents as usual. (Hopefully digital .pdf or similar)
  • If you have been uploading to the portal folder in the past, you may proceed to upload by clicking “Client Portal” above and signing in as usual. (You may need to do a password reset if you have not accessed the folder in a while.)
  • If you have used other methods of data transfer, (fax/USPS/FedX, etc) please contact me for a case-by-case procedure.
  • Once your 2024 tax data is in place and is complete enough to start your return, Drew Dawkins, CPA will begin the preparation of your returns.
  • Upon completion I will review the returns to help assure they are comparable to prior years and ready to file.
  • Once reviewed by me, you will receive your Client Copy from Drew, and be asked to review and authorize filing as usual.
  • You will be invoiced by Drew Dawkins CPA and receive your Acknowledgement Letter from him.
  • For now, I will continue to provide client management support for all of my former clients who are transitioning to new preparers.
